Toyota releases special edition Corolla to beat Honda's Fit+

NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. on Sept. 19 released special editions of the best-selling Corolla passenger car (handout photo) with added features and lower price tags, in a move to beat Honda Motor Co.'s popular Fit car. Toyota's Corolla, the top-selling passenger car in Japan for the 33rd consecutive year, is threatened by Honda's rising Fit, which has been the best-selling car so far this year.
